The research agendas carried out in the Faculty in the Urban Studies research field resonate with the urban challenges, environmental issues and social-demographic changes. Within research projects, we answer real-world problems. In our explorations, we use the potential of evolving technology and often work in interdisciplinary and international teams.

Historic Urban Structures and its Transformations

  • urban opportunities related with transformations of post-industrial areas, developing creative solutions for the revitalization of the historical structures and urban spaces; 
  • surveys of the history of the European cities; 
  • planning and urban design and development heritage and their consequences for shaping contemporary cities; 
  • urban revitalization and regeneration. 

Urbanism, Landscape, Cityscape
