For whom?
Applications for a place in the dormitory are possible for PhD students studying at the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology and candidates admitted to the Doctoral School after the announcement and publication of ranking lists on the School's website.
A PhD student may apply to have their spouse and/or children assigned to the same room*.
*Assignment of a separate room to a spouse and/or children is not possible, even in the case of vacant rooms in DS 12. DS 12 does not have facilities suitable for families with children.
Where?
Doctoral dormitory DS12 is located on the edge of the Tricity Landscape Park at 115A Traugutta Street. All rooms are single, most of them in two-room connectors with shared bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator.
How to get a place in DS12?
Applications for a place in the Student House for the academic year 2024/2025 should be submitted only via the electronic form available on the individual PhD student account on the MojaPG portal in the Scholarships module (MojaPG -> Student -> Scholarships -> Apply for a benefit -> Applying for a Dormitory, stage I - for the new academic year).
A PhD student who would like to attach additional documentation to the application, e.g. to receive additional points (§ 72 ust. 2 in the Regulations), should send a scan of the documents (or clear pictures) to the following address: komisja.stypendialna@pg.edu.pl from your email account in the name.surname@pg.edu.pl domain, titling the message "Documentation, application xxxxx", where "xxxxx" is the number of the application sent in MojaPG. Documents must be sent after submitting the application on the MojaPG portal, but no later than 24 hours from the moment of sending the application. Documentation that does not meet these conditions will not be considered.

Announcement of the Vice-Rector for the Student Affairs on the assigning places in dormitories
In case of an insufficient number of places for PhD students in DS 12, the Rector may allocate places in other DS. Places in dormitories and rooms are assigned randomly.
Failure to submit an application by the deadline specified in the Announcement of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs on the allocation of places in student residences and arrival after September 30 will result in ineligibility for dormitory accommodation.
In case of newly accepted candidates, there is a pool of 30% of places and proportional distribution of places for Polish and foreigners in accordance with the current distribution of places in the Doctoral School established by the Rector's Regulation on .
It is necessary to fill out a dedicated form by the indicated deadline, which is provided by the Student Affairs Office. The form is published annually in the news section, so please be sure to keep an eye on our website.

Fees
PhD students who will receive a place in a Student House are required to pay a deposit of PLN 500, by the deadline specified in the Announcement of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs on the allocation of places in student residences.
