For foreigners, the insurance companies cooperating with Gdańsk Tech do not offer dedicated third-party liability and accident insurance plans. However, it is possible to purchase insurance from a private insurance broker (private insurance). Third-party liability and accident insurance is voluntary and must be purchased individually by the PhD student.
In the case of PhD students taking classes at the Faculty of Chemistry, some departments and laboratories require third party insurance, which is intended to cover any damages that may occur during classes.
