Branch profile:

The branch provides access to scientific and popular science collections in the field of: nanotechnology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science and related disciplines, as well as Polish and foreign journals in the field of physical, chemical and mathematical sciences. The shelves in the bookcases are described with the names of departments, and the books are taped with colorful stripes on the spine, according to their department affiliation.

The branch offers:
  • 70 places for individual and group work,
  • 8 computer workstations with Internet access and MS Office, all workstations adapted to the needs of people with special challenges,
  • seminar room (designed for 20 people, equipped with a projector and a small dry-erase board; reservations possible for Gdańsk Tech employees and students, details: Reservations of workspace),
  • 2 scanners,
  • 2 acoustic lounge chairs equipped with a sliding front panel mechanism which allows the user to detach from the environment, the chairs also have a USB charger,
  • relaxation zone.
