NEW - free legal advice for foreigners

NEW - free legal advice for foreigners
From January 2025 to July 2026, foreign workers, PhD students, and students can benefit from free legal services. The legal advice will be provided by an external law firm. Consultations will be available in Polish and English. The coordinator of this initiative is the Welcome Office (operating as part of the International Relations Office).

The goal of providing free legal services to foreign workers, PhD students, and students is to assist them in organizing their lives in Poland, thereby facilitating their better integration into their new work and academic environments.

Scope of legal services
  • legalizing residence in Poland,
  • employment of family members,
  • access to the education system,
  • access to the healthcare system,
  • renting/purchasing an apartment,
  • tax matters,

and other related issues.

How to Access Legal Advice

Foreign workers, doctoral students, or students must complete a short online form and then wait for confirmation of their submission and the scheduling of their legal consultation. Please note that the number of consultation hours is limited—services will be offered subject to availability.
