GDAŃSK UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY - how to get to the campus?

  • Arrival in Gdańsk

By plane:
There is an international airport in Gdańsk (Port Lotniczy Gdańsk im. Lecha Wałęsy). You can also choose the flight to Warsaw (Lotnisko Chopina – the biggest airport in Poland or Port Lotniczy Warszawa-Modlin) or to Berlin (Niemcy) and then take a train or bus to Gdańsk.

By train:
Gdańsk is one the most important spot on the map of railway trail in Poland. There are a lot of domestic and international connections that you can use to get to Gdańsk. If you are searching for particular connection go to: https://rozklad-pkp.pl/en. There are timetables and possibility of buying tickets for a given train.

By bus:
Those who prefer bus transport can use one of the international transport companies offers like e.g.  Flixbus or Sindbad. To search the domestic connection you can also visit the website: http://www.autobusowyrozkladjazdy.pl.

  • Arrival in Gdańsk Tech campus

From Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport:
1) PKM (Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna/ Pomeranian Metropolitan Train) https://www.pkm-sa.pl/przystanki/port-lotniczy - the station is located next to the entrance to the airport; take the train towards Gdańsk Wrzeszcz (and get off at the last stop).
From Gdańsk Wrzeszcz change to SKM train and get to “Gdańsk Politechnika” train stop (you will have 10 minutes walk to get to the campus) or take the tram No 6,9,11 or 12 to “Politechnika” stop (+3 minutes walk to the campus).  

2) Bus:
- Bus No 210 (to the stop „Gdańsk Główny”) – then take the tram or SKM train: SKM train to “Gdańsk Politechnika” train stop (you will have 10 minutes walk to get  the campus) or tram No 6,9,11 or 12 “Politechnika” stop (+3 minutes walk to the campus). 
- Bus No 110 (towards „Wrzeszcz PKP”) or 122 (towards „Sopot”) – get off at „Galeria Bałtycka” and the take the tram No 6,9,11 or 12 to “Politechnika” (+3 minutes walk).

3) Uber/ taxi (about PLN 50/90).

From Gdańsk Główny railway station:
1) SKM train towards Gdynia or Wejherowo (2 stops) – get off „Gdańsk Politechnika” and walk to the campus (about 10 minutes).
2) Tram No 6, 9, 11 or 12 – to „Politechnika” tram stop and from there 3 minutes walk.

WELCOME OFFICE – Gdańsk University of Technology, building No 11 (Hydromechanics Building) – Welcome Office is placed on the ground floor next to Hydrostacja. We are open from Monday to Friday 7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
