Ninth edition of the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget

From October 30, you can submit projects for the university's Civic Budget. Projects must be related to the university's infrastructure, and can be submitted by Gdańsk Tech employees, students and PhD students. Prepared projects should be sent via an application form, which will be available on the Budget website _{(in Polish only)}.

Submit your project

In this year's edition of the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget, there is 420,000 PLN for employee projects and 180,000 PLN for student and PhD students projects. Each originator should get the endorsement of five people from the university, clearly describe the project theme and estimate the cost of its implementation.

All propositions should fit into at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Organization. Furthermore, bonus points will be given to ideas that are in line with the Strategy for Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals and the Declaration of University Social Responsibility at Gdańsk University of Technology for 2024-2030.

After verification, the projects will be voted on - staff and students will decide which ones will be implemented.

30.10.2024 - start of acceptance of project proposals (9:00 a.m.)
13.11.2024 - end of acceptance of project proposals (12:00 p.m.)
20.11.2024 - announcement of the preliminary list of projects for voting (after 12:00 p.m.)
27.11.2024 - start of voting (from 0:00 a.m.)
6.12.2024 - end of voting (until 11:59 pm)
13.12.2024 - announcement of the project ranking list (after 12:00 pm)
20.12.2024 - deadline for submission of written appeals (until 12:00 pm)
8.01.2025 - announcement of the project final list for implementation (after 12:00 pm)
