Special admissions – closed (outside the standard admission quota), opened only for candidates selected in open calls under research projects that provide funding for doctoral stipends or salaries for doctoral candidates, which results in the suspension of eligibility for the doctoral stipend


The legal bases for admissions for AY 2026/2027

Important: Calls for positions in research projects may take place throughout the year; however, the submission of documents to the Doctoral School is limited to the specific periods indicated in the table below. Admissions to the Doctoral School under the special track are conducted on an individual basis, in accordance with the decision of the Director of the Doctoral School.

  • final deadline for international candidates to arrive, without guarantee of housing, applicable to those pending admission upon completion of formal requirements at the time of document submission

  • enrollment on the doctoral student register – admission of applicants who have fulfilled all formal requirements

date of matriculation*, not earlier than 1.10.2026 (Thursday) and not earlier than the date of enrollment on the doctoral student register, and no later than 26.03.2027 (Friday).

Applies to admitted applicants and those pending admission upon completion of formal requirements / correction of 
deficiencies within the specified deadline:

  • earliest possible date to obtain doctoral student status and eligibility for the doctoral stipend*

  • final deadline to present original documents previously uploaded as scans in the admissions system

  • final deadline to submit the diploma and sign the doctoral oath (matriculation)

  • final deadline to submit documents confirming eligibility for the doctoral stipend and enrollment in mandatory social insurance*

* Doctoral student status and eligibility for the doctoral stipend are granted upon enrollment on the doctoral student register, signing of the doctoral oath (matriculation), and submission of documents confirming eligibility for the stipend and enrollment in mandatory social insurance.
