What is the Erasmus+ staff mobility grant?

The Erasmus+ staff mobility grant is an EU-funded grant that helps finance EU staff teaching and training mobility with other Erasmus+ partner institutions. The programme provides subsidies to promote European-level cooperation, exchange, follow-up training and traineeships for university staff members.

Staff Teaching Mobility

Wykłady Erasmus +

What is the aim of the programme?

Teaching staff, researchers and doctoral students can receive funding for teaching, lectures, seminars, supervision and examinations at a partner university in Europe (KA103) or outside Europe (KA 107).

Who can apply for funding?

Those involved in teaching students at GUT are entitled to apply for teaching staff mobility.

Agreements between higher education institutions

Before applying, you need to check that there is an agreement for teaching staff mobility between your department/faculty and the higher education institution that you are applying to visit.

How long can I spend abroad?

The stay must include a minimum of 2 working days and a minimum of 8 teaching hours. For longer periods, a minimum of 8 teaching hours per week applies. The usual period granted is normally 5 days.

Application period

There is no deadline for applications for teaching staff mobility. Applications are processed as they are received. Remember to apply for scholarship funding in good time before you depart, preferably at least one month in advance.

What compensation can I receive?

Funding comprises an amount based on the duration of the stay (daily subsistence allowance) and a travel allowance based on the distance between the home university and the host university according to the EU Commission’s distance calculation.

The grant from the Erasmus programme is not intended to cover all the costs for the trip.

Staff Training Mobility

SZKOLENIA ERASMUS +

What is the aim of the programme?

Erasmus+ staff training supports the professional development of HEI teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the development of involved institutions. It may take the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences) and job shadowing/observation periods/training at a partner HEI, or at another relevant organisation somewhere in Europe.

It is your responsibility to organise the activity. You can then apply for Erasmus funding for the activity.

If, for example, you wish to participate in a Staff Training Week, you can search for a relevant activity on the IMOTION website.

Who can apply for funding?

All employees at GUT, i.e. technical/administrative staff, researchers, teaching staff and doctoral students.

How much time can I spend abroad?

The stay must be for a minimum of 2 working days. The maximum period granted is normally 5 days, but in some cases the period can be extended.
