Which form of education - on-campus or remote, is more attractive to students? How do young people evaluate both forms of study? What are their ideas for improving distance learning? These and many other questions will be addressed during the webinar titled "Teaching and Researching Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation," which will take place on Monday, September 2nd, from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM. The event is organized by Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and Warsaw University of Technology. Prior registration is required to participate in the event.

In November 2022, Gdańsk University of Technology joined the ENHANCE Alliance - a consortium of 10 technical universities from Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Poland. This affiliation also made Gdańsk Tech part of the European Universities initiative.

Through ENHANCE, the staff, PhD students, and students of Gdańsk Tech have the opportunity to participate in various initiatives organized by the Alliance, including meetings, webinars, conferences, and more. The next such event will be held on Monday, September 2nd, focusing on e-learning. The event is organized by Chalmers University of Technology and Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). Professors Aldona Kluczek and Małgorzata Schulz from WUT will share their experiences in both on-campus and remote education. We invite everyone interested in e-learning to participate.

"In today’s fast-paced world, the need for quick and effective learning is paramount. With economic pressures, increased competition in the education market, and demographic challenges, interest in e-learning, especially in higher education, is on the rise. This webinar will explore which form of education—in-person or distance—is more attractive to students, how they assess both, their preference for further education, and suggestions for improving distance learning. Additionally, the webinar will demonstrate how Industry 4.0 technologies can be integrated with e-learning to enhance its effectiveness and appeal." [webinar description from the organizer's website]
