Call for Applications: 3rd Round of International Mobility – Possibly the Last Chance for Staff

The International Relations Office invites students, doctoral candidates, and staff of Gdańsk University of Technology to apply for the third round of international mobility under the PROM project.

Although this call is open to all groups – students, PhD candidates, and staff – for employees this may be the final opportunity to benefit from mobility under this project, as the funds allocated for staff mobility will likely be fully used after this round. So far, 26 out of the available 40 staff mobility slots have already been allocated.

Application timeline:
– April 29 – May 14: application submission period (APPLY)
– May 15 – 24: evaluation of applications by the selection committee
– May 24 or 25: announcement of results

The project includes the following activities:
– Outgoing and incoming mobility of students and doctoral candidates for summer and winter schools (in on-site or hybrid formats)
– Participation of students, doctoral candidates, and staff in international conferences
– Mobility to partner universities to collect materials for theses/dissertations or to conduct research using unique laboratory equipment
– Participation in study visits at partner institutions

The project covers approximately 250 mobilities, including:
– 40 outgoing mobilities for Gdańsk Tech staff (26 already awarded)
– 30 incoming mobilities for staff from foreign universities
– 80 outgoing mobilities for Gdańsk Tech doctoral candidates
– 30 incoming mobilities for doctoral candidates from foreign institutions
– 49 outgoing mobilities for Gdańsk Tech students
– 20 incoming mobilities for students from foreign institutions

After the list of funded applications is published, the International Relations Office will recalculate the funds allocated to each type of mobility. Should any unused funds remain, we will take appropriate steps to redistribute them. We have also contacted NAWA to request the possibility of reallocating funds between different types of mobility – a decision on this is still pending.

We warmly invite you to apply!
