yoga for all

What is yoga🧘‍♀🧘? Some people treat it simply as a kind of exercise - some people go to the gym, others like to get really tired during yoga classes😉. For some, it is more than physical exercise - meditation and looking inside oneself are important aspect of yoga to them😉.

Regardless of what yoga is for you personally, we invite you to our classes. It will be a great opportunity to spend some time in a nice company (we invite both employees and Gdańsk Tech students to the classes), get to know each other better and do something good for your body and mind😉.

Registration is closed

Registration is completed. We are not planning any more recruitment for yoga classes.

When will the classes be conducted?

By signing up for the yoga classes you choose one of two groups:

group no. III (24.01, 7.02, 21.02, 7.03, 21.03, 4.04 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.)
group no. IV (31.01, 14.02, 28.02, 14.03, 28.03, 11.04 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.)

Where will the classes take place?

For the yoga classes, we invite you to the sports hall in one of Gdańsk Tech buildings at Sobieskiego 18 street (see the map). If you haven’t been there yet, it will be a good opportunity😉. The entrance to the room will be marked - look for information boards.

Remember to take:

1. comfortable sports outfit (yoga is practiced without shoes, however you can enter the sports hall either in sports shoes with a non-marking sole or in socks only),
2. your own sports mat.
Yoga blocks and straps will be provided by us – don’t worry
😉. It will be possible to take a shower after the classes (remember about a towel and shower flip-flops). And one more thing - we will provide drinking water, but it is worth taking your reusable bottle with you (let's be eco☘).

Who can sign up for classes?

Everyone is willing🙂. Both students and support and academic staff (regardless of their origin - everyone is welcome). It will be important to us that the groups are mixed as much as possible, i.e. that there are both students and employees in one group.

“I've never been to yoga and I wonder if I can do it”.

Or "I do yoga regularly and I wonder if I will be bored." Take it easy - we will adjust the level of classes to the participants. In the registration form, you indicate whether this will be your first yoga class, or maybe you already have a lot of experience (or you are somewhere in the middle). Yoga instructors will prepare classes so that each participant will be satisfied😉.
