Hochschule Bremen is a university where approximatelly 8,500 students receive education in more than 60 courses. HSB is one of the largest universities of this type in Germany. The University offers courses producing BSc and MSc graduates in specialties connected with technology, science, engineering and, also, business and social sciences. Bremen is called a German space city, mostly because of a large number of companies operating in the space sector auch as: Airbus Defence & Space, OHB, Dsi, ZARM, ESA BIC, HESPACE Institutes, or DRL (German Space Agency). On German side the study course is coordinated by professor Jasminka Matevska.
HSB and GUT have been cooperating in many areas of mechanical engineering and energy production (with the support of DAAD funds within a partnership program with universities from Eastern Europe), in the form of bilateral student and staff exchange programs, jointly conducted projects and research in the areas listed above.
