Gdańsk University of Technology joined the project ”Asystent studenta z ADS” which is realized with the Fundacja Sowelo and DGA A.S. The main goal of this project is to support students with autism spectrum during their functioning at the university.
The offered support may contain assistance with:
- communication with lecturers and administrative units
- adjusting the form of the classes, lectures or exams to their special needs
- planning and organizing their own work

Who can use the support within this project?
Students and persons who are qualified to study and the condition being that they have been using the specialist help, psychological help or are under the specialist care of the organization for persons with ASD within the last 5 years or currently.
To use this kind of support, no formal diagnosis nor certificate of disability is required. But there are certain kinds of support which are available only for the persons with the valid certificate.

The Regulations of functioning the Leaders-Assistants or Assistants within the project “Asystent studenta z ASD” is the Rector’s directive No 18/2023 (28 April 2023).
The project is realized within “Działania 4.1 innowacje społeczne, IV Osi Priorytetowej Programu Operacyjnego Wiedza Edukacja Rozwój 2014-2020 Innowacje społeczne i współpraca ponadnarodowa”.
