EOSC Portal was launched in November 2018 and was a core part of the EOSC implementation plan. Since then, the portal has been managed, updated and maintained through partner projects eInfraCentral, EOSCpilot, EOSC-hub and OpenAIRE-Advance, and EOSCsecretariat.eu. In December 2019, the project will be joined by EOSC Enhance, an initiative to accelerate the development of the EOSC Portal.
The purpose of the EOSC Portal is to make information available about:
- EOSC management and entities,
- projects contributing to the implementation and further development of the EOSC,
- funding opportunities for EOSC users,
- important documents and current events of the EOSC,
- European and national policies in the EOSC perspective.
The EOSC Portal also includes EOSC Marketplace Resources, a place for researchers to access services and resources. The EOSC Marketplace indexes software, services, data sources, research data, interoperability guidelines, and training materials. You can find information on Open Science, open access, FAIR principles, research data storage, publishing research results, and the operation and use of data-sharing infrastructures. A separate tab within the EOSC Marketplace Resources forms a collection of all service providers. For those interested in joining the portal as a data provider, an EOSC Providers Portal has been set up with detailed information on technical details and conditions for joining.
The EOSC Portal also includes EOSC Marketplace Resources – a place for researchers to access services and resources. The EOSC Marketplace indexes software, services, data sources, data but also provides instructions for interested service providers wishing to join the portal.
MOST WIEDZY: Open Research Data has been included in the EOSC Marketplace as a data provider in 2023.
