The EOSC EU Node services were launched in October 2024. It will provide a technical and administrative blueprint and interoperability framework for establishing other potential infrastructure node candidates. It replaced launched in November 2018 the EOSC Portal and its integral part, EOSC Marketplace Resources, which was the previous place to access services and resources for researchers. MOST Knowledge: Open Research Data was integrated into the EOSC Marketplace as a data provider in 2023.

EOSC EU Node platform supports multidisciplinary and international research using data according to FAIR principles. Within this environment, researchers can access tools and services that support scientific processes, communication, and data exchange between research teams, such as ownCloud, Jupyter Notebooks, mass file transfer, real-time data synchronization, and virtual machines.

Resources within the European Open Science Cloud are also available to researchers at the Gdansk University of Technology. To do so, go to the EOSC EU Node website and, in the log-in section, select “Gdansk University of Technology” as your home institution. After being transferred to the login page of Gdansk Tech, use the credentials for “Moja PG”. After successful verification, you will be able to access a panel of services and tools, as well as a certain number of virtual credits for purchasing these services. For example, 50GB of space located in the cloud costs 10 credits per month. The number of credits granted varies for different groups of employees:

  • 100 credits for administrative employees,
  • 500 credits for researchers,
  • 1000 credits for groups of researchers.

The pool of credits renews every three months.
