The Open Access Policy at the NCN was established with regard to publications resulting from the research projects, scholarships and fellowships as well as research activities funded or co-funded by the National Science Centre, which were recommended for funding starting from the calls for proposals announced on 15 June 2020, with respect to which agreements will be signed after 1 January 2021.
These publications should be made openly available immediately after publication and without any financial barriers, under licenses and in accordance with the publication routes indicated in the aforementioned policy.
On 11.10.2023, NCN introduced a temporary relaxation of the provisions regarding the "Open Access Policy at the NCN" for final reports submitted until 31 December 2025.
