AIM Center
The aim of the NEC is to coordinate research, development, training, project, and expert works in the field of nuclear energy in cooperation with other external entities.
The main tasks of NEC:
- cooperation with organizational units of Gdansk University of Technology, academic institutions, as well as other scientific research entities in the country and abroad in the field of nuclear energy,
- establishing interdisciplinary national and international research teams related to nuclear energy,,
- applying for funds for scientific research by authorized institutions (international programs, the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Center for Research and Development, etc.) in competitions and other proceedings,
- conducting pro-innovative and informational activities in the field of nuclear energy,
- development of the research and implementation offer of the Gdańsk University of Technology in the field of nuclear energy,
- cooperation with national industry, the European Union and the world in the field of nuclear energy,
- creating and developing a training equipment infrastructure related to widespread nuclear energy,
- developing new products, services and expertise based on groundbreaking scientific and technological solutions for nuclear energy.
Operation of Center
Within the scope of the NEC activities, tasks are carried out, in particular, through:
- research projects in collaboration with other universities, scientific institutions, as well as institutions,
- research and implementation projects in cooperation with businesses, particularly in the Pomeranian region, research services for other organizational units of PG, and paid research work for third-party entities,
- own research projects.
