Scientific work:
Mattia Pierpaoli is an enthusiastic researcher with main interests and expertise in carbon nanomaterials for environmental applications, focusing on water pollutant sensing and remediation. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the Gdansk University of Technology (Poland), Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics.
Currently, Mattia Pierpaoli has contributed to the publication of 47 articles in international scientific journals, 38 of them as first or second author, with more than 600 citations, participation in 21 conferences, 16 of them as presenter, and international patents, with an H-index of 15 (September 2023). In 2023 he was awarded the “Scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Science for outstanding young scientists” by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Poland.
