Student rights
Pursuant to § 10 of the Rules of Study at Gdańsk University of Technology, a student with a special needs has the right to:
1) apply to the dean for an individual course and exam procedure,
2) apply to the dean for the appointment of a faculty tutor, whose task will be to define and present to the dean the special needs of the student in terms of organization and implementation of the didactic process, including adapting the conditions of studying to the type of disability.
Individual organization of studies
Pursuant to § 17 of the Rules of Study at Gdańsk University of Technology, a student may study according to an Individual Study Plan or an Individual Study Program on the terms specified by the dean.
The dean may consent for a student to study in accordance with the individual study plan if they are people with disabilities with a specific degree and nature of disability.
Crediting of subjects
Pursuant to § 13 of the Rules of Study at Gdańsk University of Technology, the student has the right to apply to the dean for an extension of the examination session in the event of an excused absence from the exam or credit in a given subject, in particular due to illness - immediately after the cause of the absence ceases to exist, attaching an appropriate medical certificate.
