The Library of the Gdańsk University of Technology is the largest and most modern technical scientific library in northern Poland. It provides access to academic textbooks and scripts, polish and foreign books and scientific journals, standardisation, technical and commercial literature and databases. It also has collections of museum objects and documents relating to the history of the Gdańsk University of Technology.
The Library is the leader of the Pomeranian Digital Library and the Tri-City Library Group. It cooperates with more than 80 scientific libraries in national and international interlibrary loans. The Gdańsk Tech Library offers support to researchers both in searching available information sources and in activities related to the area of Open Science, e.g. publishing in the Open Access model or sharing research data.
The Gdańsk Tech Library offers:

At the same time, the Library maintains the traditions of the oldest technical university in northern Poland. The most valuable part of the library collection is the book collection which is a legacy of the Natural History Society in Gdańsk. This book collection, as well as other valuable historical collections, is undergoing successive conservation and digitalisation.
