Research Centers | Gdańsk University of Technology

As a result of gaining the status of research university by Gdańsk University of Technology in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education programme ‘Excellence Initiative – Research University’ our University gained new tools for supporting our researchers and developing competitiveness nationally and abroad. Four new Research Centers were formed within the university:
BioTechMed Center EcoTech Center 
Digital Technologies Center Advanced Materials Center 

The most active research teams originating from different Gdańsk Tech faculties conduct research within the Centers. Researchers from other universities will also be invited to cooperate; this refers to both renowned scientists with rich scientific achievements and new, promising researchers.

On the basis of cooperation with the socio-economic environment, Gdansk University of Technology has established another interdisciplinary research center, to coordinate research, design and expert work for the construction of offshore wind farms:
