Last days for admission to the Doctoral School for a.y.2023/2024

On April 17, the enrollment for the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology, run jointly with two institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk - Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery and Institute of Hydro-Engineering, has started. Candidates can apply for the program until Monday, May 8, at 11 a.m. CEST (UTC+2). 

Admissions to the doctoral school is carried out in steps of competition-based proces

Step 1: Selection of a potential PhD supervisior

Candidates have to get formal approval of potential supervisior. Without such a consent application to our doctoral school won't be considered. More information here.

Step 2: Account registration in Gdańsk Tech recruitment system

Admission to the Doctoral School is conducted electronically. The end of electronic registration to the doctoral school in the application system will be untill Monday 8, at 9 a.m. CEST (UTC+2). More details here.

Step 3: Payment of the enrollment fee and sending scans

Candidates have to pay an application fee in amount of PLN 300 (three hundered PLN) – only after payment application will be considered. Detailed information here.

Step 4: Submission of documents to the doctoral school.

In order to be accepted to the school it is required to submit the original documents on time. Acceptance of a set of documents to the Doctoral School will be from April 17 to May 8, at 11 a.m. CEST (UTC+2) in our office during office hours (Main Building, room no 209) - during the week of 1-5.05.2023, the office will not accept documents).

Please notice: In the case of candidates residing outside Poland, it is allowed to attach scans of the documents, to the enrolment system of the University, provided that they present the originals to the Admissions Committee upon arrival, in accordance with the admission schedule. 
In the case of completion studies outside of Poland, it is required to attach all documents confirming foreign education (diploma and supplement/course card and any statements related to these documents) in the enrolment system in the form of scans, even if the above documents were submitted at the school office.
