[Update 25.03.2024] [4th-year PhD students] Extension of deadline for submission of doctoral dissertation
Due to the fact that the 4-th year PhD students (enrollment for a.y. 2020/2021) should complete their PhD training and submit the dissertation in approaching semester, we kindly remind you that according to the regulations of the school (§23), in justified cases, the deadline for submitting a doctoral dissertation may be extended at the request of a doctoral student.
One-time extension is granted for the period indicated in the application, but not longer than one year. The total extension period shall not exceed two years.
Applications of the 4th-year PhD students interested in such an extension will be accepted through the MojaPG system until 15.07.2024, only after they have completed all elements of the training required by the curriculum of the Doctoral School within the discipline of training., including passing the doctoral exam (on the date specified in a separate entry), or - in case of failure to pass the examination on the first date - after 15.09.2024.
Required documents, that need to be attached to the eDocument:
- A template of the extension application - can be found on our website under > Downloads.
- Update of the individual research proposal - updated IRP should include what was already done from the IRP which concerns 1-4 years of the study and published, all the research tasks planned for the extension period, milestones, defined outcomes and deadlines
- Copy of the doctoral examination report
- Report on the research conducted since the previous extension (in case of 2nd extension)
