Rules for implementation the teaching practice at the Faculty of Management and Economics

Teaching practice - PhD students of Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology performing doctoral dissertation in disciplines conducted by Faculty of Management and Economics

Passive teaching practice (compulsory for the first and second years):

  1. On first year PhD students start the teaching practice from first semester.
  2. On second year the semester schedule of classes within the practice is optional/compulsory for semester III or IV
  3. The type of classes is determined by the PhD student's supervisor before the beginning of the academic year / semester.
  4. Practice should include all forms of study: lecture, classes, lab classes, project and seminar.

In the event that the supervisor does not have a sufficient number of hours for the doctoral student to complete active professional practice (point 1 subpoint b), the coordinator of the disciplines of economics and finance[EiF] and management and quality sciences[ZiJ] at the PG Doctoral School may, at the written request of the doctoral student's Promoter, exempt the doctoral student from completing active professional practice or agree to complete a smaller number of hours than indicated in point 1b.
