Let's talk about neurodiversity - invitation
On April 27, we will talk about neurodiversity and how to support and work with people on autism spectrum. This will be the first meeting in the series "Let's talk about..., let's talk to..."
The HR Center invites the employees and PhD students of Gdańsk Tech to the meeting "Let's talk about neurodiversity and how to support and work with people on autism spectrum", which will take place on April 27, 1 pm – 3 pm, in the conference room of Hydromechanika building. The meeting will commence the series "Let's talk about ..., let's talk to ...", during which topics important to the entire community of Gdańsk University of Technology will be discussed. The implementation of the undertaking is one of HRS4R for 2022-2025 activities.
The first meeting is related to World Autism Awareness Day, which was celebrated on April 2.
During the meeting, we will be introduced to the issues of neurodiversity and neuroatypicality by Agata Rudnik, PhD - Director of the Academic Psychological Support Centre at the University of Gdańsk, assistant professor at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Gdańsk. We will discuss about communication, creating a safe space and giving people on autism spectrum emotional support.
