Borrowing books from the Main Library of the Gdynia Maritime University | Gdańsk University of Technology

It is now possible to request and borrow books from the Main Library of the Gdynia Maritime University using the Gdańsk Tech Library account.

To use the resources of the Main Library of the Gdynia Maritime University, you simply need to activate the library account, which will be automatically linked to your Gdańsk Tech Library account. Follow the instructions below.

• Sign in to the online catalogue of the Gdańsk Tech Library using your login details for the Gdańsk Tech account (Central Authentication Service). Here you will also be able to check your activity at the Main Library of the Gdynia Maritime University (loans, reservations, returns, fines).
• Choose "FFN Libraries (UMG, UG, GUMed)" as the search area and find the book you are looking for.
• Click on the title of the book from the list of versions and choose the location "Gdynia Maritime University".
• Choose "Click to activate your account in this library".
• Your account has been activated!

If you want to activate your account at the Main Library of the Gdynia Maritime University in person, take your valid Gdańsk Tech ID card or the Gdańsk Tech Library card with you. Only then will the librarian be able to activate your account
