Onboarding Guide for Doctoral Candidates at Gdańsk University of Technology – Practical Support for a Strong Start
With candidates applying to this year’s recruitment to the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology in mind, we have prepared a comprehensive, bilingual Onboarding Guide. The publication is designed primarily to support international doctoral students in their first steps at the university and to help them adapt smoothly to life in the Pomeranian region. It is also another outcome of the NAWA Welcome to Poland project, which aims to foster the internationalization of Polish higher education institutions and create a welcoming environment for students and researchers from around the world.
What will you find inside?
The guide clearly explains the residence legalization process, accommodation options, and the formalities that need to be completed after arriving in Poland. It also includes an extensive compendium of information about the Doctoral School, the rules and structure of the education process, key support units at the university, and everyday life on campus.
We also encourage Polish candidates and future doctoral students to explore the guide—it is a practical source of organizational information that will help ensure a smooth start and allow you to make the most of the opportunities offered by Gdańsk University of Technology.
We invite you to download and read the Guide!
