International promotion training for Gdańsk Tech staff

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced universities to change their promotional and marketing strategies. This applies to a large to activities aimed at foreign students. It is worth taking advantage of this moment to think together about how to promote Gdańsk University of Technology on the international arena and how Gdańsk Tech faculties and units can cooperate in this area.
Who can take part in the training?
Employess of faculties and units responsible for promotional activities (i.e. those who are editing websites, preparing promotional materials, participating in educational fairs, organizing events such as Open Days for candidates etc.), also staff recruiting students and acting for the benefit of broadly understood international cooperation.
What will we talk about during the training?
Among other things, we will talk about latest trends in marketing and promotion as well as examples of successful university promotional campaigns around the world. We will talk about how to use the existing resources at the university - human and financial, to jointly (and coherently) promote Gdańsk Tech in the world. Participants will also learn how to effectively use e-mail marketing, social media, content marketing, event marketing, advertising on the Internet in promoting university, faculties and units.
Training Provider
The training will be conducted by experienced trainers from Keystone Solutions: Louise Aalerud, Paul Vu and Joel Durston, which advise universities around the world on marketing and promotional activities. Keystone runs of the most frequently visited educational portals by students from around the world: masterstudies.com, bachelorstudies.com and phdstudies.com, where Gdańsk Tech also presents its educational offer.

Monday, January 17th (4 clock hours) and Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 (6 clock hours)

The project "Building a strong, global HEI" benefits from funding of EUR 14,690 from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as part of the EEA Grants.
