Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship - call for applications
Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) is a program for Polish universities interested in hosting a native speaker - a graduate of one of the American universities, who will conduct English classes. An ETA stays at a university has many benefits.
ETA scholarship holders are native speakers with knowledge and experience in many fields. Their openness and readiness to gain new experience and develop English teaching skills enable the exchange and promotion of good academic practice.
In addition to teaching, Fulbright ETAs are actively involved in non-academic activities: they organize and participate in conferences, conduct thematic workshops, discussion clubs, theater groups, lectures on US culture and history, advise people interested in studying in the US or going on a summer internship as part of the Work & Travel program. Admitting an ETA to a university does not require the person to pay a salary.
The Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission encourages universities interested in accepting a scholarship to participate in the recruitment for the 2022/2023 academic year. Electronic applications are accepted until January 31, 2022.
