Summer university courses in Hungary - open call | Gdańsk University of Technology

In the framework of the University of Pécs Summer School Program students from all over the world have the opportunity to participate in a face-to-face summer course about Hungarian cultural heritage free of charge!

The Cultural Heritage of Hungary (July 3-17, 2022) in-person summer program will help students gain insight into Hungary’s gastronomy, wine culture, history, religion and folk traditions, and political, economic and social challenges. Team building intercultural sessions will also be part of this program with professional lecturers and guided tours in Pécs.

Scholarship

The scholarship offered by the Hungarian Tempus Public Foundation for this program covers full tuition, meals, accommodation and various social activities for the duration of the program. Travel expenses to Hungary, within Hungary and back to the country of origin are not covered by Tempus Public Foundation.

Who can apply for?

The program is open to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students. Students can apply:

1. as a nominee of the sending country’s national scholarship organization from: Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine.

2. as a citizen of the following countries, individually, directly: Poland, Albania, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korean Republic, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, the Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA.

2. Letter of motivation 
3. Transcript of records 
4. Proof of (Hungarian or English) 
5. A Letter of Recommendation issued by a teacher of the sending higher education
institution/employer
