ENHANCE invites: hackathons for students (May 24-26, Warsaw)

Are you interested in ecology and have an idea on how to solve waste management issues? Or perhaps you feel confident in smart cities field? Take part in one of the two hackathons organized by the Warsaw University of Technology and win a prize of EUR 2000! Applications are accepted until April 21st. The event is part of the ENHANCE+ project.

What 

Two parallel hackathons:

hackathon #1 ENHANCE  BioHackathon - the objective of the competition is to create biosolution for waste management
 
hackathon #2 ENHANCE Smart City Challenge the objective of the competition is to create innovative solutions for smart city problems

Warsaw University of Technology


Duration

On-site in Warsaw at Warsaw University of Technology from 24-26 May 2024 (please note that the event will only take place in-person. There is no option for online participation.)


For whom

It is open to students who have finished at least 2nd year of Bachelor’s degree studies and students of Master’s degree studies.


Participation is free of charge

The ENHANCE Alliance will provide funds for students’ travel and accommodation. Please note that Gdańsk University of Technology can cover travel and accommodation expenses for only 4 students - it will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis. The funding amount is EUR 597 per person (round-trip travel and 3 nights' accommodation). For more details please contact Gdańsk Tech International Relations Office at enhance@pg.edu.pl


Awards

EUR 2000 for the first prize + prices found by sponsors for each hackathon.

 
How to apply

Fill out the REGISTRATION FORMStudents apply individually to participate in the event. After registration closes, the organizers will divide the students into teams.
