The applicant is a research or research and teaching employee of Gdańsk Tech who is the leader of the research team and coordinates the arrival and stay of the foreign employee.

 

Arrival procedure

1. the applicant submits a completed and signed application to the International Relations Office by sending a scan to dorota.janczak@pg.edu.pl and submitting the original document in paper form to the International Relations Office; it is mandatory to file the application in both forms)

2. The International Relations Office has 5 working days to verify the application in formal terms.

3. If the International Relations Office does not accept the application, it is sent back to the applicant for correction.

4. If approved, the International Relations Office forwards the application to the Centre Council of the competent Priority Research Area for review in terms of content.

5. The Priority Research Area Centre Council has 20 working days to verify the merits of the application.

6. After being examined by the Priority Research Area Centre Council, the application is forwarded to the Rector for decision.

7. the Rector's written decision together with the document "Acceptance of the project for implementation" is submitted to the applicant in two copies

8. the applicant submits one copy of the document "Acceptance of the project for implementation" signed by the applicant and the competent Dean to the International Relations Office (original)

After the project is launched, the applicant and the persons responsible at the department for organising official trips of their employees handle arrival formalities (eligible costs in the project include travel costs, per diem and accommodation costs).

 

During the stay

Implementation of the project in accordance with the approved application. Direct supervision over the implementation of the visit is performed by the dean of the visited faculty.

 

Settlement of a stay

Within 10 working days from the end of the guest's stay, the applicant submits a report to the International Relations Office containing a description of the measurable effects of the visit, especially in terms of meeting the objectives of the Priority Research Area Centre. The report should be evaluated by the dean of the faculty where the visit was carried out. A list of the incurred costs as compared to the planned costs constitutes a part of the report. After checking the completeness of the report, the International Relations Office submits it to the council of the Priority Research Area Centre within 3 working days of its receipt.
