Team Leaders in the Process of Consolidation of Gdańsk Universities

"Supporting university consolidation processes" is a project carried out jointly by the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk as part of the Fahrenheit University Association. As part of the project, 21 team leaders responsible for various aspects of university integration were appointed.

On 12 May another meeting of representatives of the Fahrenheit University Association was held, during which experts in 21 areas subject to consolidation were appointed. The leaders of 14 of them are specialists from Gdańsk University of Technology:

  • Prof. Janusz Nieznański, Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Innovation / Team Leader for the preparation of federation scenarios and the draft Federation Statute,
  • Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, Vice-Rector for Organization and Development / Team Leader for Consolidated University Forecasts, Identification of Synergic Areas and Consolidation Initiatives Implementation Workshops,
  • Mariusz Miler, Gdańsk Tech Chancellor / Team Leader for the integration of IT systems
  • Anna Kanarska, Deputy Chancellor for Employees’ Affairs / Team Leader for Joint Human Resources Management,
  • Krzysztof Kaszuba, director of ASC at Gdańsk Tech / Team Leader for integration in the areas of sports activities of the University Association,
  • PhD Anna Wałek, director of the Gdańsk Tech Library / Team Leader for the integration of library resources, repositories and bibliographic databases,
  • Piotr Lewandowski, Gdańsk Tech Quaestor / Team Leader for the feasibility study of accounting systems integration,
  • Justyna Borkowska, head of the Promotion Office / Team Leader for media strategy and campaign promoting the idea of integration activities,
  • PhD Agnieszka Lendzion / Team Leader for the integration of education management and distance learning platforms,
  • Damian Kuźniewski, director of the Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer / Team Leader for the integration of technology transfer centers and the activities of university special purpose vehicles,
  • Katarzyna Zygmunt, head of the Document Workflow  and Archive Office / Team Leader for the organization of the office of the Daniel Fahrenheit University Association in Gdańsk,
  • Wojciech Łabiak, legal advisor / Team leader for legislative and legal matters of the Fahrenheit Association,
  • Anna Gerlach, chief specialist in the Chancellor's Office / Team Leader for joint service of student houses,
  • Ewa Walaszczyk, head of the Public Procurement Office / Team Leader for joint public procurement.

On behalf of the University of Gdańsk, the project leaders are:

  • Prof. Adriana Zaleska-Medynska / Team Leader for the system of integrated management of research infrastructure at the University Association,
  • Prof. Adam Prahl / Team Leader for the preparation of the merger of doctoral schools of the University Association,
  • PhD, DSc Paweł Antonowicz, professor at Gdańsk Tech / Team Leader for the assessment of the financial impact of the association of univerities,
  • Ewa Weronis / Team Leader for Project Records.

On behalf of the Medical University of Gdańsk, the project leaders are:

  • Prof. Tomasz Bączek, Rector's Plenipotentiary for the Excellence Initiative - Research University Program / Team Leader for determining synergy areas in scientific research,
  • Ewa Kiszka, head of the University's Internationalization Department / Team Leader for the preparation of the office of the joint national and foreign organization of incoming employees and students,
  • PhD Joanna Śliwińska, Head of the Communication Section / Team Leader for electronic media.
