Excento, a special-purpose company of Gdańsk Tech, has started recruiting subject matter experts for the "μGrants R&D for Enterprises" project. Scientists whose research interests align with the areas of the Pomerania Smart Specializations (ISP) are sought. The submission deadline has been extended to September 28.
Who is being sought
Researchers with experience and knowledge in a specific field related to the thematic areas of the Pomeranian Intelligent Specializations, who will serve as opinion and advisory experts for the grant recipient in the project, are being sought.
Main tasks of the substantive expert
The task of the substantive expert will be to collaborate with grant recipients in developing the project card, which is part of the grant application, particularly in creating the research agenda.
Persons employed in this position will assist entrepreneurs in finding the optimal solution to the research problem and describing this solution in a detailed and precise manner.
The substantive expert will also verify and assess whether the final scope of the research service included in the project card meets the formal criteria allowing for the final evaluation by the Investment Committee.
Benefits of participating in the project
Among the most important benefits of participating in the project as a substantive expert are the opportunity to establish long-term cooperation with business, expanding one's portfolio of offered services, gaining additional experience, and ultimately financial benefits.
What the project is about
The “μGrants R&D for Enterprises” project is a regional funding program for R&D services. Within the project, Pomeranian entrepreneurs can apply for non-repayable support up to PLN 200,000 for the purchase of services consisting of industrial research or experimental development work in the areas of ISP. Support will be granted to projects leading to the creation of product or process innovation whose implementation will contribute to the development of the enterprise.
The main objective of the project is to improve access to advanced research services, resulting in increased R&D activity of enterprises, including cooperation with universities, and increased effectiveness of enterprises’ applications for national and European funds.
Key principles
The recruitment of experts is conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement Law. Candidates who obtain the highest number of points in the announced competition will be invited to cooperate, separately for each ISP area.
Applications from candidates will be accepted until September 28.
We invite all interested parties to submit their applications.
The “μGrants R&D for Enterprises” project is co-financed under the Regional Operational Programme of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for 2014-2020, Priority Axis: 01 Knowledge Commercialization, Measure: 01.01 Expansion through Innovation.
