Who can participate?

Applications may be submitted by a person who:

• has passed the matriculation examination or its foreign equivalent, not later than 3 years before the announcement of the contest or is a student of the last year of school which ends in a matriculation examination or its foreign equivalent;
• a person who undertakes studies for the first time in the academic year following the date of contest announcement;
• a person who has outstanding academic results and creative achievements.

How to apply?

1. You need to compete an application form available here 
2. Provide self-presentation of the participant - your academic results, current achievements, interests and planned development path in the selected field of study.
3. The candidate's achievements, but also an original and interesting form of self-presentation, will be decisive factors when selecting the candidates to the next stage.

Contest schedule

• 20/03–15/04/2024 – electronic forms
• by 30/05/2024 - results of the first stage of the contest
• 10/06–25/06/2024 – individual interviews in the second stage of the contest
• by 01/07/2024 – announcement of the contest results

Laureates of the Talent Scholarship will receive:

• Student credit book (index) in the selected field of bachelor degree studies at Gdańsk University of Technology
• Research scholarship amounting to PLN 2000 throughout the entire study period
• A guarantee of a place in a single room in a student dormitory for a scholarship holder from outside the Tricity region
• Supervision and guidance of an academic teacher
• An individual course of study
