Beloved Hits in an Unusual Arrangement

During the concert, you will be able to listen to the greatest hits of Polish popular music performed by the Academic Choir of Gdańsk Tech under the direction of Prof. Mariusz Mroz and Lt. Cmdr. Grzegorz Rudnik, accompanied by the Representative Orchestra of the Polish Navy.

In the Main Building, you will hear, among others, songs such as “So Much Sun in the Whole City,” “Flowers in the Hair,” “Don’t Be Naughty” or “Where Have Those Parties Gone,” as well as pieces from the repertoire of Anna Jantar, Marek Grechuta, Andrzej Zaucha, and Skaldowie

The combination of the academic choir with the wind orchestra will give popular songs a new, concert sound, while preserving the energy of tunes that have been sung by successive generations for years.

Musical Culmination of Alumni Day

The concert will take place as part of the University’s Celebration and will conclude the Alumni Day at Gdańsk Tech. On that day, the campus will be a meeting place for alumni, faculty events, tours around the university, and returns to places well known from student days.

The evening event will be open to everyone. It is an offer for graduates and the entire PG community, as well as for Gdańsk residents who wish to spend a June evening in one of the most recognizable spaces on campus.
