The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published the results of the call for applications to include strategic research infrastructures on the Polish Research Infrastructure Map. The updated Map includes a total of 165 projects of special importance for the development of scientific research, innovation, and the competitiveness of the Polish economy.
Among the distinguished initiatives, 11 projects are implemented with the participation of CI TASK. In the SIMBa project - Quantum and Artificial Intelligence Technologies for Innovative Digital Medicine and Security, CI TASK serves as the leader, while in the other 10 projects it is a consortium member. Here are the remaining projects:
- Application of the Cybersecurity and AI Synergy Laboratory (ASASYN - Advanced Security and AI Synergy Lab),
- PRACE - Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe,
- National Supercomputer Infrastructure for EuroHPC,
- National Cloud Infrastructure PLGrid for EOSC,
- National Data Repository. A universal infrastructure for storing and sharing data as well as efficient processing of large data volumes in HPC, Big Data, and artificial intelligence models,
- National Platform for the Integration of Research Infrastructures with Innovation Ecosystems PIONIER-LAB2,
- National Quantum Computing and Simulation Infrastructure - EUROQCS PL,
- DestinE PL - National Research Infrastructure,
- Polish Biobank Network BBMRI.pl,
- BalticSense - Advanced infrastructure for monitoring threats in the Baltic Sea Basin.
CI TASK has been developing and providing infrastructure for years that enables the implementation of advanced research projects, processing large data sets, and utilizing artificial intelligence technologies and high-performance computing. Participation in 11 strategic projects demonstrates that CI TASK’s competencies and infrastructure are applied in numerous scientific fields. A common element of these projects is the need to ensure secure access to digital resources, appropriate computational power, reliable data transmission, and the integration of distributed research environments.
