We invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Regina Czapiewska. Encore," which will take place on September 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Gdańsk Tech (Main Building, Hall in front of the Library).
Regina Czapiewska was a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk Tech (1969) and a long-time lecturer in the Department of Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture at the Faculty of Architecture of Gdańsk Tech (1974-1983).
She spent her artistic life in exile, first in Algeria, and then in Canada, where she achieved professional success. The presented works have been donated to Gdańsk Tech (Gdańsk Tech Library) by her husband, Jacek Czapiewski.
The exhibition will feature oil paintings from the "Filigree of Cities" collection, gouaches from the "Neolithic Lesson" collection, pastels from the "Piranesi Spaces" collection, and selected drawings from the "Algerian Sketchbook".
The exhibition will be accompanied by a multimedia presentation showing the behind-the-scenes of the donation transfer by air and sea, as well as a biographical exhibition dedicated to the Painter.
The exhibition can be viewed until October 7, 2026.
The exhibition is organized by the Gdańsk Tech Library.
