During the event, a wide range of master’s programs tailored to the evolving labor market was presented. As part of the "Studies 5.0" project ("Studies 5.0: Study Programs for Key National Industry Sectors", aimed at aligning education offerings with economic development needs and green and digital transformation), candidates had the chance to learn about programs such as:

On 4 February this year, the fifth meeting of the Young Researchers Team took place.

The topics discussed included the work ethic of scientists, the need for cooperation and partnership in research teams and the need to launch training in scientific research methodology.

The next meeting is scheduled for 4 March 2025

What’s new in the Erasmus+ program?

The main changes in the Erasmus+ program, which will apply until the end of the 2024/2025 academic year, are:

• introduction of four recruitment rounds instead of continuous recruitment;

–Currently, there is a growing demand for polymer materials that do not contain petrochemical raw materials. This is particularly important in the case of polyurethanes (PU), as the two main substrates required for their synthesis, that is polyols and isocyanates, come mainly from petroleum sources  – explains Adam Olszewski.

The Gdańsk University of Technology is one of the consortium members of the FIDELIS: Establishing a European Network of Trustworthy Digital Repositories project under Pillar I: Excellent Science - Research Infrastructures of Horizon Europe (competition: HORIZON-INFRA-2024-EOSC-01).

This is the first Research Infrastructure project under this program at the Gdansk University of Technology.
