THE Impact ranking is the only global ranking that is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the latest edition of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, Gdańsk University of Technology has been classified in the overall ranking and in 8 individual Sustainable Development Goals.
Compared to last year's edition, Gdańsk Tech noted a decrease in the general classification to the range of 601-800.
Gdańsk University of Technology did its best in 4 individual SDGs, and took the first place among national universities in each of them. The University was ranked in a very high 101-200 range in the world ranking in SDG9 - Innovation, Industry and Infrastructure as well as in SDG13 - Climate Action. Gdańsk Tech was also classified in the range of 301-400 in SDG12 - Responsible Consumption and Production, and as the only university in Poland, it was ranked in the range of 401-600 in SDG16 - Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
