The first grants in the Copernicium International Grant Application Support program have been awarded

Copernicium International Grant Application Support
The Copernicium program supports the acquisition of prestigious international grants by scientists of Gdańsk University of Technology, in particular ERC grants and other grants included in the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programs. As part of the competition, researchers from Gdańsk University of Technology submitted 9 applications, 4 of which were qualified for funding for a total of nearly PLN 300 000.

Projects that have been qualified for financing:

• PhD, DSc, Eng. Błażej Kudłak university professor, entitled: ‘Preparation of a grant application enabling concluding a research consortium and applying for H2020 funds to conduct research on the impact of mixtures of environmental pollutants on living organisms (including pathogens)’

• PhD, DSc, Eng. Łukasz Kulas university professor, entitled: ‘Preparation and submission of a project application with the acronym TELETAPPI (Ecosystem, Toolbox & architecture for rapid development of Extended Reality (XR) telepresence systems for a safer and more productive industry) in the ECSEL-2020-1-IA competition in the HORIZON2020 program’

• PhD, DSc, Arch. Justyna Borucka, entitled: ‘Acupuncture Interventions for requalification of degraded urban areas and design of new connections pots (PIT STOP)’

• PhD, DSc, Eng. Joanna Żukowska, university professor, entitled: ‘Transnational approaches for inclusive and dynamic use of the curb’
