Call for applications in the Technetium Talent Management Grants competition

Technetium
The Technetium Talent Management Grants program is part of the implementation of the tasks of the IDUB program in the field of improving the quality of education of students and doctoral students, in particular in fields and disciplines related to priority research areas (PRAs) of the university, Action III.4. (Activities supporting effective talent management). The aim of the Technetium program is to support the activity of mentors - academic teachers - caring for especially gifted students who are involved in research activities in the subject areas of PRA Centers.

Budget and terms of project implementation

The grant amount in the program is PLN 25 000 (twenty five thousand zlotys),

and the project implementation period can last up to 12 months.

Grant applications may be submitted by:

• mentors of students implementing an individual research study program at Gdańsk Tech;

• mentors of students involved in the work of research teams operating at Gdańsk Tech;

• mentors of student research clubs operating at Gdańsk Tech.

What cost categories can be planned in the project?

The costs may include, among others:

• remuneration for the mentor (project manager), in the maximum amount of PLN 12 000 (twelve thousand zlotys); the remuneration is paid in the form of a teaching supplement to the basic salary;

• costs related to the dissemination of research carried out by students under the mentor's supervision, such as: publication fees, costs of participation in conferences, travel and stay costs;

• costs of the purchase of small laboratory equipment, materials necessary for the construction of models for pilot studies, perishable materials, including reagents;

• hardware and software costs (for research purposes only, e.g. specialized computer programs / licenses);

• external services necessary for the implementation of research.

 

How to apply

Funds under the Program are awarded on a competition basis. The call for applications will last from 9 November to 31 December 2020, by 23:59. Applications should be sent electronically to the following address: granty@pg.edu.pl to the IDUB Project Implementation Team, the original of the application should be sent by internal mail to the Projects Office.
