Almost PLN 300 000 was awarded in the first edition of the Technetium program

The obtained funds will make it possible to support the activity of mentors - academic teachers - caring for particularly gifted students, who are involved in research activities in PRA Centers.

In the completed call for proposals, 16 applications were submitted to the program, of which 11 received funding:

EkoTech Center:

1. Protected areas - are they really? Study of the catchment area of rivers and watercourses in the area of the Coastal Landscape Park

2. Detection of damage to adhesive joints in concrete structures with internal and external reinforcement using vibration measurements and wavelet analysis

BioTechMed Center:

3. Examination of optical parameters of biological tissues and tissue phantoms as a function of temperature

4. Technologies of data mining, machine learning and mathematical modeling in various applications

Center for Materials of the Future

10. Bromophosphine borates: synthesis and application in the activation of small molecules

and one interdisciplinary application submitted in the framework of two centers, i.e. EcoTech Center and Center for Digital Technologies

11. Nautilus - a muscle-powered underwater vehicle of the PIKSEL Research Club
