Call for applications in the Actinium Supporting Most Talented Candidates competition

The Actinium Supporting Most Talented Candidates program is an element of the implementation of the tasks of the IDUB program in the field of improving the quality of education for students and doctoral students, in particular in the fields and disciplines related to priority research areas (PRA) of the university, Action III.3. Improving the admission system for studies in order to attract the best candidates. The aim of the program is to increase the effectiveness of Gdańsk University of Technology in competing for the most talented candidates for studies in the fields related to the subjects of PRA Centers. The way to achieve the goal are scholarships based on the achievements from the previous stage of education for particularly gifted students starting full-time 1st or 2nd cycle studies at Gdańsk University of Technology.

Budget and terms of project implementation

The scholarship in the ACTINIUM program amounts to PLN 1 000 per month and is granted for a period of 10 months.

Applications for the scholarship may be submitted by first-year students enrolled in 1st or 2nd cycle full-time studies, who achieved high results in the qualification

Who can apply?

  • Funds under the Program are awarded on a competitive basis. Currently, the competition is aimed at second-cycle students admitted to the first year of studies at Gdańsk University of Technology from the summer semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.

How to apply?

  • The call for applications will run from 1 March 2021 to 31 March 2021 by 23:59.
  • Applications and documentation should be submitted electronically to the address: actinium@pg.edu.pl to the Student Affairs Office.
  • Applications should be sent from the student account (@ student.pg.edu.pl).
