Cuprum Supporting Research Team Building in Emerging Areas

The Cuprum Supporting Research Team Building in Emerging Areas program is an element of the IDUB program tasks of improving the quality of the university's scientific activity, acting to develop cooperation with scientific institutions of high international renown. The aim of the Program is to increase and enrich the scientific potential of Gdańsk Tech as a result of creation of new research teams led by Gdańsk Tech scientists conducting research in the field of architecture and urban planning or in the field of social sciences, with the participation of foreign scientists. Within the Program, it is possible to obtain a university grant for financing the costs of creating a new research team at Gdańsk Tech and its functioning in the initial period of activity.

Budget
  • The project budget planned in the application cannot exceed PLN 300 000 gross.
  • The project implementation period can be from 3 to 12 months.

What cost categories can be planned in the project?
Costs may include, among others:

  • salaries for foreign scientists;
  • purchase or manufacturing of research infrastructure for the created team;
  • expenditures related to the functioning of international research cooperation, e.g. business trips, delegations, rent of rooms and laboratories and purchase of external services.
How to apply?
  • The call for proposals for the program runs from 1 April to 13 May 2022.
  • Applications should be submitted electronically at granty@pg.edu.pl to the IDUB project implementation team, the original application should be sent by internal mail to Portfolio Management Office (formerly Projects Office).
