Changes to the Rules include, among other things, alignment with overriding legal provisions. The following modifications have also been introduced:

• Rector’s scholarship

- change to the reference date used to determine the grade point average (GPA) when processing applications;
- changes to the list of recognized achievements and the method of documenting them in the application;

• dormitory accommodation

- change to the reference date used to determine dormitory residency status (from March 31 to April 30);
- introduction of a rule awarding "tenure points" to students on exchange programs, provided they were dormitory residents in the semester prior to their departure (Stage I);
- modification of dormitory allocation criteria, effective from Stage I of the allocation process for the 2027/2028 academic year (increased weight of the tenure criterion in Stage I, decreased weight of the distance criterion across all stages, and the addition of an academic criterion—GPA or admission score—across all stages; existing criteria apply in the interim);
- change to requirements regarding the documentation of activities benefiting the University;
- update to dormitory rules and regulations.
