The Pomeranian Voivodeship Office looking for volunteers and interns supporting the aid initiatives for Ukrainian refugees

The Pomeranian Voivodship Office is looking for volunteers and interns - people who want to support aid initiatives for refugees from Ukraine

We are looking for people to help at information and reception points below:

  • Gdańsk Main Railway Station, ul. Podwale Grodzkie 1
  • Gdańsk Dom Harcerza, ul. Za Murami 2/10
  • Gdynia Main Railway Station, ul. Plac Konstytucji 1

We are looking for people who will help (for free) at the aid points for refugees, on the basis of a volunteering or an internship agreement.

Help includes, among others:

  • translation into Ukrainian, Russian and English
  • providing information on medical help, food, accommodation, etc.
  • advising on public transportation,  how to get to the airport, ferry check-in etc.
  • providing contact information to organizations, institutions, city offices upon the request of the refugees (consulates, embassies, clinics, schools).

We encourage everyone to help. Especially people with the ability to speak Ukrainian, Russian or English, including students of: pedagogy, sociology, psychology (4th year students of psychology preferred).

These points are open 24 hours a day, the schedule is set individually. You can help whenever you want and for as long as you want to.

We also need support at the infoline (scheduling visits) of the passport point in Gdańsk (ul. Okopowa 21/27). Internship schedule:

  • Monday and Wednesday, Friday at 7:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m – 2 p.m.
