Architectural Aptitute Test for Bachelor of Science in Architecture admission 2026/2027
Entrance Exam in Architecture is scheduled for June 18, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and can be taken:
a) stationary
b) remotely via MS Teams application-> only for candidates living abroad. If you would like to take exam online please fill in request (pdf, 327.17kB) and upload it into eRekrutacja system.
The in-person Architectural Exam will be held in the Main Building and will be divided into two parts. Both parts of the examination will be carried out on A3-sized sheets, using pencils. The test will assess the applicants’ spatial imagination, drawing skills, and general knowledge:
I part, consisting of 4 tasks, will include design assignments and tasks related to spatial geometry. It will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (the time allocated for drawing is 2.5 hours).

II part, consisting of 2 tasks in the form of imaginative drawing, will take place between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (the time allocated for drawing is 1.5 hours).
Candidates are required to bring:
- an ID card or another photo identification document confirming identity;
- drawing materials: HB and 2B or 3B pencils, a pencil sharpener, an eraser, and a pen.
The assignment of examination rooms for the entrance exam will be published in the form of a list on 17 June 2026. The layout of the rooms in the Main Building can be checked here.
Online Architectural Aptitute Test - Regulations:
Candidates who meet all of the following conditions are eligible to take the online exam:
- hold a high school diploma issued in a country other than Poland
- submit a request (pdf, 327.17kB) to take the exam online by June 11, 2026
Online Architectural Aptitute Test - Rules and Procedure:
1. The exam takes place on the same date as the in-person test: June 18, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (CET).
2. The exam content and tasks are identical to the in-person version.
3. The online test is conducted in the language indicated by the candidate in the request form (pdf, 327.17kB) - either Polish or English.
4. The candidate is responsable for providing appropriate equipment and a stable internet connection. Technical issues will not be considered valid grounds for appeal. If technical problems make it impossible to see the candidate for more than 2 minutes, the exam will be considered failed.
5. Required equipment and materials: a computer with internet access, high-resolution webcam, microphone, headphones/speakers, MS Teams application, A3-size paper sheets (minimum 6), pencils (HB and 2B or 3B), sharpener, eraser and valid photo ID document for identity verification.
6. On June 17, candidates will receive an email with the MS Teams meeting link sent to the address provided in the eRecruitment system.
7. A trial meeting will be held on June 17, 2026, to test the connection and exam setup.
8. The entire online test will be recorded. By participating, candidates consent to the recording of their image and workspace during the exam.
9. On exam day (June 18, 2026) candidates join the MS Teams meeting at the specified time and attendance is verified by showing their face and ID document to the camera.
10. Each candidates is assigned to a specific room and examiner.
11. The candidate consents to remote access to their computer deskop during the test, camera and microphone must remain on, showing the candidate's silhouette and workspace.
12. The test must be completed independently - no one else may be present in the room. Candidates must show the entire room using their camera.
13. After attendance is verified, candidates receive the tasks for Part I of the test.
14. Only the tools listed in the exam regulations may be used during the test.
15. Use of internet, electronic or printed sources are prohibited.
16. Use of any AI tools is strictly forbidden.
17. If the examiner detects the presence of third parties or authorized aids, the candidate's exam will be terminated with a failing grade, with no right to appeal.
18. After completing Part I, the candidate shows their work to the camera, then takes clear photos and sends them to the Examination Committee to closely examine the drawings.
19. After Part I is a short break.
20. After the break, the procedure is repeated for Part II of the test.
21. The candidate's work is assessed based on the submitted photos, but candidates taking the online test must also submit the original drawings to the University along with other required documents.
The exam results will be published for both stationary and remote test on July 8, 2026 at 4 p.m.
