The Feeding Point is another initiative of Gdańsk University of Technology aimed at making it easier for parents working or studying at the university to combine their scientific duties with family. It is a special room, thanks to which mums can feed their children in intimate conditions.
The point is located on the first floor in building no. 50 - Faculty of Management and Economics at Traugutta 79 Street in Gdańsk. Access to the room is provided by a driveway to the building and an elevator. There are also toilets in the immediate vicinity of the feeding point.
The room has an area of ~8m2 and is a public social space.
Guests have at their disposal a changing table, a microwave oven, a comfortable armchair and toys for children. The feeding point is open during the opening hours of the building.
The room was donated for the purpose of creating a feeding point by the Faculty of Management and Economics by the Dean’s decision, and the renovation and adaptation were carried out entirely by the employees of the University.

Family-friendly university
The feeding point is not the only convenience for parents introduced by Gdańsk University of Technology. At the beginning of September we will welcome (on the ground floor of the building of Dormitory No. 13) the Gdańsk Tech Megamocni (Megamind) Kindergarten, which was created for employees, doctoral students and students of Gdańsk University of Technology. There will be 4 playgroups in the facility, up to 25 children each.
