Responsibilities of Chancellor’s Office

  • Administrative-secretarial service of Chancellor and Vice-Chancellors
  • Correspondence indexing, managing issues, meetings and appointments of Chancellor and Vice-Chancellors
  • Managing Gdańsk Tech land records
  • Transferring the decisions and directives of Chancellor and Vice-Chancellors for  further implementation

Chancellor’s Responsibilities

  • Organising, coordinating and supervising the work of central administration and units, including performing tasks specified in the University internal legal acts: the resolutions of the Senate, orders and circular letters
  • Developing projects of the regulations concerning management of the University assets
  • Undertaking activities and making decisions securing retaining and proper exploitation of the University assets, their increasing and development
  • Supervising the purchase of fixed assets and current assets with regard to legal regulations
  • Supervising the activities related to planning and realisation of University’s investments and renovation
  • Investigating possibilities of subsidising investments and renovation of buildings and supervising preparation of the application for funding
  • Supervising of supplying the University with equipment necessary for its functioning
  • Controlling proper functioning of all University unit in the areas of economy, assets and finance and informing the Rector in case of detecting any irregularities
  • Representing the University referring to public procurement issues, approval of documents connected with the realisation of the procedures of public procurement on the basis of Rector’s authorisation
  • Approval of the documents leading to the realisation of financial benefits for the University on the basis of Rector’s authorisation
  • Cooperation in decision-making with Rector and Vice-Rectors
  • Cooperation with departments’ administration and coordination of University activities
  • Supervising the development of investment and renovation documents
  • Leading the University activities in the area of renovation and energy economy
  • Supervising the ongoing building investments
  • Managing cooperation of the University with companies performing the realisation of renovation and maintenance as mandate contracts
  • Supervising the development, verifying and realisation of renovation plans
